Some customers have pointed out that while the main courses are reasonably priced, desserts can feel a bit expensive; £7 for a small slice of lemon torte is a common complaint. Additionally, a few diners mentioned that while the staff is friendly, there can be a learning curve for newer employees, impacting service speed on rare occasions. During peak dining hours, the restaurant can get quite crowded, leading to a bustling environment that may feel overwhelming if looking for a quiet meal. Lastly, occasional waits for food during busy evenings are noted, which is something to prepare for if dining at peak times.
Had a fantastic meal and evening on Saturday. Food was amazing, staff were very professional and friendly, Alex has done a great job with both his restaurants and checked everyone was okay during the evening. The new one is definitely a bonus for Frinton. Prices are also very good! Definitely recommend. We will be regulars!
Visited as a family of 11, ages varied from 3 to 70. It was a very busy Saturday evening and the restaurant was full. However the Staff were attentive and friendly. Plates were cleared quickly after each course. We all had different main meals and everyone enjoyed what they had ordered. Prices were reasonable for main courses, rather expensive for desserts. A small slice of lemon torte cake at £7 would have been reasonable had it come with cream or ice cream. This fairly new italian restaurant is one of the few in Frinton that is open in the evenings and is a bonus to the area.
Simple authentic Italian dishes cooked and presented very well . Few of the staff obviously new but friendly and helpful. Great addition to Frinton and open on a Sunday night !!!
A very special place.! Superb authentic Italian cuisine, cooked by an expert with high quality ingredients. The service is fantastic, as is the atmosphere; with beautiful food, wine, music and staff. We will definitely be returning to try more dishes from the interesting menu. Big thanks to Alessandro (Alex) and his team..! A great experience and 5 big stars from me ***** !!
Had lunch here yesterday (14 July) Lovely atmosphere, good service, friendly and attentive staff and the food was great. Would definitely return although we are not that local but it was worth the drive as far as we were concerned. Good prices as well. I had oven baked salmon in a delicious lemon sauce with sauté potatoes, my husband was traditional and had spaghetti & meatballs which were huge! Good sized portions. Thoroughly recommend.
Wonderful food and great hospitality. My family and I were very well looked after and my son’s special needs catered for with such care. We struggle to dine out so I am delighted to find somewhere that serves great Italian food in lovely surroundings. We shall return!
My daughter and I dined here last night. What a fabulous Italian restaurant this is! Cannot recommend highly enough! The food tasted 'home made', portions were generous and nothing was too much trouble for the friendly attentive staff! Very well stocked bar, with staff who know what they're doing! The lovely owner, Alexandro, came over to make sure everything was alright and later on played some lovely Dean Martin Italian love songs which took me back! Was such a great atmosphere! Reasonably priced and we had cocktails! We booked and booking advised as very popular! I'm back Friday lunchtime with a larger group and can't wait! 😊
